Dreamwork

Dreams are direct messages from the subconscious

Dreams are allegories of the functioning of the subconscious. They are direct messages that express the subconscious experience of oneself and the world. They are how the subconscious mind sees ourselves and the world.

Each part of a dream is a part of ourself. This not only refers to the different people in the dream, but all places, animals, objects, body parts, moods, weather and so on.

Sometimes, all these parts create good emotions and a nice story as in fulfillment dreams. Other times, some parts can be in conflict, as in frustration dreams and nightmares. There is also the resolution dream that shows a difficulty is now solved.

The more intense the emotions, the more significant the dream. However, a recurring dream is always significant.

The more intense the dream, the more important the dreamwork

Working on a dream in hypnosis means reexperience and sometimes continue the dream, and work with the different parts with tools such as Gestalt.

Dreamwork goes through struggles between the parts to resolve issues in order to reach a more balanced and integrated whole. In particular, it uses Gestalt and non-violent communication to increase comprehension and state agreements.

Also, some parts can need something to feel better and change their beliefs and behavior. It can be getting rid of inopportune emotions as well as experiencing new situations or getting some help. Dreamwork is the opportunity to give it to them. In the dream with the help of the hypnotist, you give what is needed.

Dream comprehension

Often people get the connection between their dream and some aspect of their life. If they don’t consciously experience the meaning of their dream immediately, that is fine too because the work of integration is done anyway.
